Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in the classroom? We’re seeking a dedicated KS3 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students aged 11–14, helping them thrive academically and socially.

Your new role

• Provide in-class support to KS3 students across a range of subjects
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Deliver targeted interventions to small groups or individual pupils
• Support students with additional needs, promoting inclusion and engagement
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience working with secondary-aged children (KS3 preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) desirable
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
