Your new role

• Working closely with a KS3 student with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis.
• Supporting the student’s academic, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborating with teaching staff and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Monitoring progress and contributing to the student’s individual education plan (IEP).
• Support students both in the classroom, around the school, during small groups or one-to-one sessions and break times.

What you'll need to succeed

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a 1:1 capacity.
• A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Full right to work in the UK.
