Location: Croydon, South London
Salary Scale: Pay Scale 5–7 (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Full-time, Term Time Only
Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Start Date: September 2025

This primary school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. You’ll play a vital role in helping children thrive across the curriculum and during lunchtimes, working closely with the class teacher and supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs.

As a classroom TA, you’ll support learning across the curriculum and help children overcome barriers to achievement. You’ll also assist with lunchtime supervision and contribute to the school’s nurturing ethos.

What we’re looking for:

•NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification/experience
•Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths
•Experience working with children with SEND
•Strong ICT skills
•Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
•Good understanding of child development and learning
•Legal right to work in the UK (Visa sponsorship is not available)
