Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Contract: Flexible supply / temporary roles
Salary: Competitive daily rates (dependent on experience)

Hays Education is proud to be working with a variety of primary schools across Rugby, and we are currently recruiting KS2 Teaching Assistants to join our trusted supply agency. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning. Opportunities range from day-to-day supply to long-term placements.

Your responsibilities may include:
  • Supporting pupils with their learning in class and in small groups
  • Assisting pupils with additional needs where required
  • Helping to create a positive, safe and supportive classroom environment
  • Supporting lesson preparation and classroom organisation


To be considered, you should:
  • Have experience working with children in a UK primary school (KS2 preferred)
  • Be patient, adaptable and enthusiastic about supporting learning
  • Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Be able to provide two professional references
