KS2 Teacher job in Wolverhampton, Starting in January
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in Key Stage 2? We are seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join a well-established and forward-thinking primary school in the Wolverhampton area. This school is highly regarded for its inclusive ethos, strong community links, and commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for preparing, planning, and delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire pupils. You will work closely with teaching assistants to ensure effective support for lower-ability learners and children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
The successful candidate will create a positive and stimulating learning environment, fostering resilience and confidence in pupils as they prepare for the transition to upper Key Stage 2.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective classroom management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with support staff and adapt learning for SEN pupils.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
