Are you a passionate and adaptable educator looking for a flexible role with the potential for long-term growth? We are currently seeking a committed Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher to work in a vibrant primary school in Widnes, with the exciting possibility of transitioning into a permanent position for the right candidate.
This role offers the perfect blend of variety and opportunity. As a supply teacher, you’ll be stepping into different classrooms, delivering engaging lessons, and maintaining a positive learning environment for pupils in Years 3 to 6. You’ll be expected to quickly build rapport with students, follow school policies, and ensure continuity of learning during staff absences. Whether covering for a day or a longer-term placement, your ability to adapt and inspire will be key.

What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching (whether completed as part of your placement or employment)
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
- A genuine passion for education and helping students thrive
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
- An enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full right to work in the UK
- Willing to obtain references
- An up to date Overseas Police Check if you have been living outside the UK
