Hays Education are currently recruiting Key Stage 2 teachers who are considering supply work from September across Coventry.
With schools already planning ahead for the new academic year, we are looking to build our pool of reliable and enthusiastic teachers who are interested in a range of opportunities. We work closely with primary schools across the city and can offer everything from occasional supply days to long-term teaching placements.
Whether you're looking for more flexibility, a fresh start for September, or a route into a longer-term position, we'd be keen to speak with you.
Your new role
We expect a variety of KS2 teaching opportunities to become available from September, including:
- Daily supply cover
- Short-term teaching assignments
- Long-term roles
- Maternity cover positions
- Job-share teaching opportunities
Working on supply gives you the chance to experience different schools while maintaining flexibility around your work commitments. Many teachers also use supply as a way of finding a school that's the right fit before securing a longer-term role.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Effective behaviour management skills
- The ability to adapt quickly to different school settings
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A professional and positive attitude
