KS1 Teaching Assistant
KS1 Teaching Assistant role in South Liverpool
Your new company
Hays are one of the largest education agencies in the South Liverpool area. We currently have a number of Teaching Assistant opportunities within Key Stage 1. These opportunities are in several primary schools across South Liverpool area. There are both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Your new role
• Support the class teacher in the classroom, prepare resources and teaching materials and ensure that the children in the class have access to the curriculum.
• Supporting pupils with special needs, preparing individual resources for pupil's who need them.
• Working closely with the class teacher, planning lessons and activities and assessing progress.
What you'll need to succeed
• Have a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or Education related degree
• Have at least three months experience working with children in an education setting, particularly with the KS1 age range.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Hold GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above
• Sound knowledge of KS1 Curriculum
