We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team at a welcoming primary school in St Helens. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young children thrive in their early years of education.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning, provide 1:1 and small group interventions, and help create a positive and engaging classroom environment. You will play a key role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of the pupils, ensuring every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience working with children in a school setting is desirable, and a calm, patient, and nurturing approach is essential.

• Experience working with children
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Full right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain
• Experience working with SEN children
