We are working with a primary school in Southport who are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 SEND base in Southport. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young learners with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
As a Teaching Assistant in the SEND base, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider support team to deliver tailored learning experiences that meet the individual needs of each pupil. You will assist with classroom activities, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help pupils develop their communication, social, and emotional skills.
Your role will also involve supporting pupils with personal care and sensory needs, promoting independence, and encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
