KS1 Teacher position in Wolverhampton, Starting in January

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced KS1 Teacher looking for a part-time opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking primary school?

Hays Education is working with a well-established primary school in Wolverhampton to recruit a passionate KS1 Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This part-time role covers three days per week and offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in Key Stage 1.

This welcoming and inclusive school is known for its strong community values and commitment to high standards of teaching and learning. Staff are supported by a collaborative leadership team and benefit from a culture of continuous professional development. The school places a strong emphasis on early literacy and provides a well-resourced environment to support phonics and foundational skills.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to KS1 pupils, with a particular focus on phonics using the Read Write Inc. (RWI) programme. The successful candidate will be confident in supporting early reading and writing development and committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching in KS1
  • Strong knowledge of phonics, particularly RWI
  • A creative and nurturing approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
