The school is seeking a dedicated and adaptable KS1 Class Teacher to join their team from June on a full-time basis to cover maternity leave. You will take responsibility for a KS1 class, delivering structured and engaging lessons that support early learning, curiosity and independence. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys making a meaningful impact during the key early stages of a child’s education.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching children within Key Stage 1
  • Secure knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and age-related expectations
  • The ability to plan lessons that are creative, accessible and well-paced
  • A warm, positive approach to behaviour and classroom routines
  • Commitment to meeting the needs of all learners and promoting inclusion
