KS1 Teacher job in Walsall, Starting in September
Are you a passionate and experienced KS1 Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking school?

This school is looking for a KS1 Teacher to start with them in September. The roles and responsibilities are:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across the KS1 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are engaged and making progress.
- Plan and prepare lessons that are creative, differentiated, and aligned with national standards.
- Teach phonics effectively using structured schemes such as Read Write Inc or Letters and Sounds.
- Liaise closely with the Teaching Assistant to support individual and group learning needs.
- Conduct formative and summative assessments, track pupil progress, and use data to inform planning.
- Write detailed pupil reports and contribute to parents’ evenings, offering clear insights into pupil development.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community and events.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
- Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
