Hays Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and adaptable Y2 teacher to work at a Primary School in Bristol. The school is based in Clifton and is on a public bus route with a car park attached. It also has a mission to deliver a successful education to all children, regardless of their background. They are looking for a teacher who is diverse in their teaching style which can be applied to any classroom of abilities.
Your new role
This Bristol school is looking for a full-time Y2 class teacher to join their class in the new academic year on a long-term basis. This role will be 5 days a week, and you will be joining the KS1 team alongside other Teachers and Teaching Assistants. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering entertaining, high-quality teaching and learning experiences for your students. Your responsibilities will consist of planning and delivering engaging lessons within the reception curriculum, attending parents' evenings and staff meetings and creating a safe and welcoming classroom and supporting each child’s development as they enter their first year of primary education.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE)- Experience within the last 5 years
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
