KS1 Teacher (Part-Time) – September Start
Location: Somerset (TA21) Contract: Part-Time Start Date: September Suitable for: ECTs and Experienced Teachers
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the TA21 area of Somerset from September. This is a part-time position, and the school is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced practitioners.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality teaching within Key Stage 1, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. You’ll work closely with a supportive and collaborative team that values creativity, commitment, and child-centred learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (or be on track to obtain it by September)
- Have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Be able to plan and deliver creative, inclusive lessons
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
- Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and keen to contribute to wider school life
ECTs are very welcome to apply and will be supported through mentoring and ongoing professional development.
