Schools are requesting additional help for both short term cover and longer term placements, creating excellent opportunities for teachers who thrive in Key Stage 1 environments.
Your new role
As a KS1 Supply Teacher, you will be supporting pupils across Year 1 and Year 2, delivering engaging lessons that promote early learning, confidence and curiosity. You’ll work with a variety of Telford and Wrekin schools, each offering a different environment where you can broaden your experience and make a positive impact.
This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy structure and creativity, and who want to combine flexibility with the reward of helping younger learners build solid foundations.
We can offer:
- Pre arranged bookings and same day requests
- Full day and half day assignments (AM or PM)
- Daily, short term cover
- Long term opportunities lasting from 2 weeks up to the remainder of the academic year
We’ll work closely with you to match your availability, strengths and teaching style with schools that appreciate your expertise.
What you'll need to succeed
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new DBS
- Recent KS1 teaching experience in a UK school, with the ability to provide references
- A warm, nurturing approach combined with strong classroom and behaviour management
- Flexibility and confidence to work across multiple school settings
