Key Account Manager – GI/HPB Oncology (Maternity Cover)
Territory: South Coast including South West and South East
Full-Time | 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Are you an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional with a passion for oncology and a drive to make a difference in patient outcomes? We’re looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our growing oncology team and lead strategic engagement across the GI/HPB therapeutic area. This is a 12-month maternity cover opportunity offering the chance to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment, contributing to the success of a rapidly expanding oncology portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive compliant sales growth and market access across key accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory business plans aligned with brand objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
  • Act as a therapeutic area expert, delivering impactful education and support.
  • Champion patient access initiatives and ensure alignment with local treatment guidelines.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and medical teams.
  • Maintain continuity of account management and ensure seamless handover during the cover period.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Oncology experience is essential, with a strong preference for GI/HPB cancers and targeted therapies.
  • Demonstrated success in launching new products or indications.
  • Strong scientific acumen and ability to engage in high-level clinical discussions.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and committed to improving patient care.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
  • ABPI qualified.
