Your new company
My client is a newly established architectural firm based in Norwich, committed to delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions. As part of their growth, they are looking for a Junior Planner to join their dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of their projects.

Your new role
As a Junior Planner, you will manage routine planning applications from initial enquiry through to securing permissions.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and submitting planning applications in compliance with UK regulations.
  • Coordinating with sub-consultants such as heritage, ecology, and transport specialists.
  • Responding to queries from planning authorities and ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Monitoring application progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Staying up to date with planning policy and legislation changes.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience: 12–24 months in a planning role (Essential).
  • Education: Degree in Town Planning, Urban Design, or related discipline (Preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of UK planning regulations.
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines effectively.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player.
