My client is a newly established architectural firm based in Norwich, committed to delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions. As part of their growth, they are looking for a Junior Planner to join their dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of their projects.

Your new role

As a Junior Planner, you will manage routine planning applications from initial enquiry through to securing permissions.
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and submitting planning applications in compliance with UK regulations.
Coordinating with sub-consultants such as heritage, ecology, and transport specialists.
Responding to queries from planning authorities and ensuring timely resolutions.
Monitoring application progress and maintaining accurate records.
Staying up to date with planning policy and legislation changes.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience: 12–24 months in a planning role (Essential).
Education: Degree in Town Planning, Urban Design, or related discipline (Preferred).
Skills:
- Strong understanding of UK planning regulations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines effectively.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player.
