• Advise on and negotiate construction and services contracts, helping mitigate risks and seize opportunities.
• Guide teams through governance and approval processes.
• Deliver legal training and support policy development.
• Build strong relationships across the business, providing timely, practical legal advice.
• Handle a variety of issues—from contract terminations to payment disputes—working closely with finance, commercial, and operations leaders.
• Maintain a robust precedent bank for quick, efficient document preparation.
• Manage external legal advisers to ensure advice is clear, constructive, and commercially focused.

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent with English law knowledge).
• Experience in projects/construction law and standard contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC).
• Strong communication, influencing skills, and ability to give concise advice.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

• In-house legal experience.
• Dispute resolution knowledge.
• Familiarity with AI tools for productivity.
