Our client is a growing and forward-thinking sustainability consultancy that partners with organisations to improve their environmental and social impact. They provide strategic and technical support across a wide range of sustainability areas, helping clients navigate an increasingly complex regulatory and commercial landscape.
Working with clients across multiple sectors, the business supports the development and delivery of practical, results-driven solutions, including carbon reduction strategies, ESG frameworks, and broader sustainability initiatives. Their approach combines data-led insight with clear, actionable recommendations to drive meaningful change.


Your new role


This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated professional to further develop a career in sustainability consultancy. You'll be supporting projects for building design across a range of sectors including healthcare, residential and education. You split your time evenly between office days (Worcester or Birmingham) and working from home.

Main duties include...

  • Modelling using software such as IES
  • Assisting with carbon footprinting, emissions data collection and analysis
  • Technical input for overheating analysis and thermal loads
  • Achieve BREEAM credits crucial for obtaining BREEAM certifications
  • Conducting research on sustainability trends, regulations and best practice
  • Assisting with the preparation of client reports, presentations and recommendations
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders as part of project delivery
  • Supporting internal sustainability initiatives and knowledge development


What you'll need to succeed


  • A degree (or equivalent) in sustainable design or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in energy modelling or sustainable design from a building perspective
  • Experience with IES software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated and keen to learn
  • Low carbon / energy assessor training
  • CIBSE accredited (ideally)
