We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing electrical contractor based in Leicester. The company delivers high-quality electrical services across commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors and is known for its commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and sustainable practices. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their office-based team with a Junior Electrical Estimator.

Your new role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician looking to transition into an office-based estimating role. You’ll support the commercial team by preparing accurate and competitive quotations for a variety of electrical projects. Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, liaising with suppliers, assisting with cost planning, and contributing to tender submissions. Full training and mentoring will be provided, with clear progression opportunities as you develop your estimating and commercial skills.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified electrician with several years of practical experience
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office; estimating software experience is a bonus
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Desirable: Experience or interest in solar PV systems and renewable technologies
