Hays Recruitment is seeking a skilled Joiner to work on a substation project in Oxford. This role involves carrying out high-quality joinery work, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety regulations in an industrial setting.

Your new role

  • Perform first and second fix joinery on substation structures.
  • Install doors, frames, partitions, and other wooden components.
  • Work with site managers and engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, particularly in an industrial environment

What you'll need to succeed

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working on substations or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
