Job Overview:
Do you have a proven track record of building high-performance solutions? Are you confident at iteratively refining user requirements and removing any ambiguity? Do you want to design and build best-in-class, enterprise scale applications using the latest technologies?
We’re looking for a java developer to:
- Develop scalable Java applications for complex business challenges
- Optimise and refactor existing services to improve performance and maintainability
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Perform code reviews and share results with colleagues
- Lead UAT and demonstration sessions with key stakeholders
Location: (Hybrid/ London)
Daily Rate:Flexible Rate
Contract Length:Until Dec 2026
Start Date: ASAPKey Responsibilities
You’ll be working in the Rates and Credit markets technology team. We're a fast-paced, motivated group spread across 8 cities in 6 countries (US, Europe, Asia Pacific). Our mission is to provide cutting-edge solutions for fixed income trading services to Principal Flow Trading business divisions of the banking group. As a java developer, you'll play an important role in the growth of multi-faceted platforms.
Your expertise
- Ideally, 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer, focusing on core capabilities of the language, finance sector background a plus
- Experience of building low-latency, high-throughput platforms
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to produce secure, stable and good-performing code
- Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
