IT Support Technician – On-Site (Birmingham)

We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician / Field Engineer to work across two Birmingham sites, providing hardware setup and ongoing support for laptops. This is a fully on-site role ideal for someone with strong experience in Windows installations and Active Directory.

Location: Birmingham – 2 Sites
Rate: £200 per day
Schedule: Monday to Friday, On-Site Only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, configure, and install laptops for end users
  • Install and configure Windows OS
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for laptop-related issues
  • Manage user accounts and permissions via Active Directory
  • Travel between two Birmingham sites as required
Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Windows installation and configuration
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory
  • Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple locations
