IT Technician - Preston

Your new company

You would be working for a high-performing multi-academy trust in the Preston area.

Your new role

You will be based in a high school in the area on a temporary basis. This could also lead to more permanent work.
The role will include 1st and 2nd Line support, and you will report to an ICT manager.
As an IT engineer, you will provide 1st and 2nd line support to staff and pupils. You will be responsible for installation and maintenance of the computer hardware and software in the school.

What you'll need to succeed

We’re looking for a talented individual to provide an exceptional IT support service for pupils, teachers and wider stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and specialist technical skills.
You will need:
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Education sector experience (desirable)
  • Ability to install and manage educational and office software
  • Experience in Azure and M365
  • Experience of managing ICT Networks effectively
  • Experience of troubleshooting software and hardware
