Solutions Analyst

Your new company

You’ll be joining a forward-thinking organisation with a national footprint and a user base exceeding 2,000 people. With ambitious plans for IT transformation and service excellence, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and evolving team. The organisation is investing in its IT Support function and is looking for a leader who can inspire and drive change.

Your new role

Working within the IT and Business Services team, this position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised, and capable IT/technology professional to make a meaningful impact. As a Solutions Analyst, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our Application Architecture, while also driving forward systems and business analysis across a range of strategic initiatives.
This is a fixed-term contract role, ideal for someone looking to contribute to high-impact projects and gain exposure to strategic transformation work. You’ll be supporting several high-priority workstreams, with a strong focus on transforming siloed applications and fragmented datasets into a unified, scalable digital foundation. Reporting directly to the strategic lead, you’ll help shape the future of our technology platforms—laying the groundwork for CRM, SQL, Dataverse, and other core systems.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A relevant IT qualification or 5+ years’ experience in enterprise IT
  • Strong systems and business analysis skills, with cloud and Microsoft 365 expertise
  • Familiarity with Power Platform, Dynamics, Azure, and application architecture
  • Experience with data/process analysis, integration, and business analysis techniques (e.g. MoSCoW)
  • Solid understanding of networking, security standards, and client-side devices
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to technical solution design
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proactive, organised mindset with a passion for solving business problems through technology

What you'll get in return

In return, you will benefit from flexible working arrangements, predominantly from home, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a 27% civil service pension contribution.
