A public sector organisation based in the West Midlands has a new Service Desk Advisor job opportunity available to join a dynamic and customer-focused team within the ICT Frontline Service on a 3-month temporary contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality ICT services and support our valued customers in a fast-paced environment.

Your new role

In this Service Desk role, you will provide first-line ICT support in a fast-paced environment, delivering technical assistance for Microsoft applications and utilising the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre to resolve user issues efficiently. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting problems related to Active Directory and object synchronisation, while ensuring exceptional customer service in a call centre setting. Your day-to-day tasks will involve responding to customer queries, offering timely updates, and addressing issues with a strong understanding of business needs and priorities. A commitment to delivering high-quality support and maintaining customer satisfaction will be central to your success in this role.

What you'll need to succeed

We’re looking for a skilled and customer-focused ICT professional with proven experience in providing technical support. You should have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, and be confident in resolving issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to customer care are essential, particularly in a busy call centre environment. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of ICT support services and be committed to delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through thoughtful, solution-oriented service.

What you'll get in return
