Your new company

A progressive local authority on the South Coast is undergoing a major digital transformation. With a focus on service improvement, efficiency, and innovation, the council is investing in modernising its IT infrastructure and systems to better serve its community and strategic goals.

Your new role

As an IT Project Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of multiple transformation initiatives, including the migration from legacy systems to cloud-based SaaS solutions. You’ll manage project planning, procurement, stakeholder engagement, and governance, while coordinating cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers. This role is key to ensuring successful implementation, data migration, testing, and rollout of new systems.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree or equivalent experience in IT Project Management
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certification
  • Proven track record of delivering complex IT and business change projects
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Experience with SaaS, cloud systems, and data migration
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
  • Ability to manage budgets and develop business cases
  • Understanding of local government operations (desirable)
  • Experience in business analysis, process improvement, and change management (desirable)
