IT Project Manager - Telecoms - Contract

Hays are now looking for an IT Project Manager for one or our local clients.


  • £511 p/d Inside IR35
  • Hybrid – 2-3 days a week in Bristol
  • 6 month+ contract
  • Requires telecoms experience to apply

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex technology projects within a fast‑paced environment. You will work with cross‑functional teams and third‑party suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.

What you’ll be doing
Leading and coordinating virtual, cross‑functional project teams
Managing projects from initiation through delivery and transition into operations
Owning project planning, governance, risks, issues, and change control
Managing budgets and ensuring delivery against agreed timelines and outcomes
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Providing regular project reporting and status updates
Communicating effectively with stakeholders up to senior leadership level

What we’re looking for
Experience delivering complex technology projects in a structured delivery environment
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage budgets, resources, and competing priorities
Comfortable working with third‑party suppliers and virtual teams
Strong planning, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capability
A recognised project management qualification (or equivalent experience)
