IT Procurement Specialist

Your new role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver procurement activities, including market engagement, route assessment, and approvals.
  • Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, from inception to completion.
  • Support negotiations and contract management to achieve added value.
  • Oversee commercial matters for assigned contracts, including planning for expiry dates and resolving disputes.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and communicate the benefits of commercial activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Support alignment of commercial activities within the team and highlight areas of concern.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Track performance and maintain robust reporting.
  • Mentor and coach team members as required.
  • Promote inclusion and diversity within the organisation.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Understanding of procurement regulations.
  • Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge of commercial and contract management processes.
  • Experience in interpreting contractual arrangements and managing approvals.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks.
