IT Procurement Specialist

Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver procurement activities, including market engagement, route assessment, and approvals.
- Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, from inception to completion.
- Support negotiations and contract management to achieve added value.
- Oversee commercial matters for assigned contracts, including planning for expiry dates and resolving disputes.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
- Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and communicate the benefits of commercial activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Support alignment of commercial activities within the team and highlight areas of concern.
- Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
- Track performance and maintain robust reporting.
- Mentor and coach team members as required.
- Promote inclusion and diversity within the organisation.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Understanding of procurement regulations.
- Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Knowledge of commercial and contract management processes.
- Experience in interpreting contractual arrangements and managing approvals.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks.
