I am seeking a highly skilled IT Disaster Recovery Manager to join a leading utilities company based in South Wales. This role is crucial in ensuring the resilience and continuity of the company’s IT operations.

Your new role

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and strategies.

• Ensure the company’s IT infrastructure and systems are prepared to handle potential disruptions.

• Lead the business continuity and disaster recovery processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.

• Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure disaster recovery plans are integrated and effective.

• Manage and coordinate disaster recovery testing and drills to ensure readiness.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in disaster recovery and business continuity.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in business continuity and disaster recovery processes.

• Proven expertise in disaster recovery planning and execution.

• Experience working with ISO22301 standards.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
