IT Buyer - London - Hybrid Working - Media Industry

Your new company

You will work for a national media and entertainment company responsible for producing TV classics and hard-hitting documentaries covering a wide range of topics and genres.

Your new role

As an IT Buyer, you will be working within the central procurement function, responsible for the procurement of all goods and services required for the business to function. You will be responsible for IT software and hardware, within the business, managing all renewals and sourcing when necessary. You will work closely with the IT Category Manager to manage low-value tech procurement requirements, when necessary, as well as support all large-scale major procurement. You will support the full RFx process and help to manage/maintain the e-sourcing platform and contracts database.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role you will have relevant previous experience working within a procurement function, ideally with an IT focus. You should be highly proficient with Excel and confident in performing basic analysis from large data sets. While this role will allow you to grow and develop, you must be a confident and independent self-starter who can effectively manage your own workload when required. This role will engage a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, so excellent communication and stakeholder management skills will be crucial to allow continued success in the role.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive base salary depending on your experience and relevance for the role. You will also receive private medical cover, 25 days of annual leave (with the opportunity to buy more), and various other benefits. This role will also allow a 60/40 hybrid pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home a week.
