New ION Business Analyst Opportunity – initial 12 months
I’m supporting a large-scale derivatives programme, and we’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst with deep experience in brokerage, ETD fees and post‑trade processing.
You’ll be joining a high‑profile stream focused on brokerage automation, working closely with technology and operations to map out requirements, analyse fee structures, and support the transition across key back‑office platforms.
Hybrid: 3 days week in office
Duration: initial 12 months
Rate: £800pd inside ir35 via umbrella
What we’re looking for:
- Strong BA background across large, complex, multi‑year programmes
- Deep knowledge of derivatives, especially ETDs
- Hands‑on experience with ETD fees, brokerage and commission models
- Solid understanding of post‑trade processors — ideally ION XTP (fees & commissions), but GMI experience is benefitial
- Ability to work across the full BA lifecycle: requirements, analysis, data, process mapping, testing, etc.
- Nice to have: Python for light analysis/automation
This role would suit someone who can hit the ground running, understands the brokerage domain end‑to‑end, and can operate confidently across tech and ops.
