Finance/Invoicing assistant – Doncaster – ASAP start - Temporary - Part-time c 12 hours
Your new company
Hays Accountancy and Finance are pleased to be working with a family feel construction company in Doncaster, who are looking to add an invoicing/finance assistant to their team on a temporary basis.
This role will be on a rolling temporary basis via Hays, with around 12 hours to be worked flexibly at the beginning of the week.
Your new role
• Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and investigate discrepancies
• Accurately answering any internal and external queries regarding payments
• Reconcile supplier statements and review month-end unmatched orders.
• Maintain accurate supplier ledgers
• Work collaboratively with other members of the team and provide cover for annual leave.
What you'll need to succeed
• Possess experience and a good working knowledge of Excel and Sage 50
• Be able to demonstrate accurate data entry skills.
• Possess the ability to work as part of a team and alone as hybrid working is offered.
• Possess a proven ability to organise and prioritise your own workload to achieve deadlines.
• Be proactive in your approach, have a ‘can do’ attitude, and be willing to learn new skills.
