International Trade & Logistics Specialist | Immediate start | Full time | Warrington | £17.84 - £23.78 p.h

Your new company

I am currently working with a multinational market leading organisation, and they are seeking an experienced International Trade & Logistics Specialist on a temporary basis, providing immediate cover following a period of absence. This is a critical, hands-on role requiring someone who has an in-date Dangerous Goods certificate and is able to hit the ground running from day one.

Based at our Warrington site, conveniently located close to major motorway links, this role is fully on-site and will suit a pragmatic, highly compliant logistics professional with strong customs and dangerous goods expertise.

Your new role

In your new role, duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and ensure compliance for the movement of goods by air, sea and land.
  • Provide expertise to internal stakeholders on customs, freight, and international trade
  • Prepare, verify, and submit Dangerous Goods documentation, including: Lithium Batteries & Aerosols
  • Hold and apply verified Dangerous Goods certification
  • Resolve logistics-related complaints and operational issues efficiently
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners, carriers, and authorities
  • Ensure all movements meet current regulatory and compliance standards

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in this role, you will –

  • Proven experience in international trade, customs, freight, and logistics
  • Certified to ship Dangerous Goods, including lithium batteries
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements for air and sea freight
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues
  • Available immediately or at short notice
  • Comfortable working 100% on-site
