A leading UK law firm is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join its Business Development & Marketing team. This standalone role will be responsible for shaping and delivering internal communications strategy across the firm, working closely with senior stakeholders, HR, and business services teams.

Your new role

In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of high-quality internal communications that align with the firm’s strategy and values. You’ll write and edit compelling content, coach colleagues to improve their comms skills, and support them in developing effective plans. Working closely with project teams and senior leaders, you’ll shape messaging and schedules for key initiatives and business changes. You’ll design creative, multi-channel campaigns to engage a diverse workforce, using written, video, and event-based content. As the owner of the internal comms strategy, you’ll manage and optimise channels, track engagement metrics, and drive continuous improvement. You’ll also collaborate with HR and employee networks on internal campaigns, employer branding, and talent initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Significant experience working with internal senior stakeholders
  • Proven experience in developing and managing impactful brand and communications campaigns
  • Skilled in delivering multi-channel internal campaigns across various media
  • Strong grasp of brand and corporate identity, with a track record as a brand champion
  • Experienced in creating and executing project and internal comms plans, using Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Teams, Office, Engage, etc.)
  • Adept at building collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders and working closely with senior leaders to translate key messages into effective internal communications
  • Advises on internal comms strategies for change initiatives, leads communication planning, and reports on engagement metrics to demonstrate impact.


What you'll get in return

  • Hybrid working (2 days in the office)
  • £60,000 - £65,000
  • 25–28 days holiday
