Play a key role in the management, implementation and delivery of internal communications
Your new company
We’re working with a well-established UK-based financial services group renowned for its long-term approach and specialist expertise across lending, savings, and securities. With a strong commitment to service and relationships, the organisation operates within niche markets and maintains deep industry knowledge to deliver tailored financial solutions. We are partnering to recruit the permanent role of Internal Communications Manager, to be based primarily at their Brighton offices but with both hybrid home working and regular travel to other UK offices.
Your new role
This is a varied and hands-on role for an experienced Internal Communications Manager, responsible for shaping and delivering clear, engaging messaging across the organisation. With a strong focus on copywriting, the position involves producing high-quality editorial content on topics ranging from strategic direction to transformation initiatives and operational change. Acting as the business owner of the company intranet, you’ll champion employee engagement and collaboration, while also supporting key communication channels and events such as Town Halls. The role requires close partnership with HR, Marketing and project teams to ensure messaging is consistent, well-informed and aligned to business objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring substantial experience in internal communications, with a proven ability to craft clear, compelling content tailored to diverse audiences. Strong written English is essential, alongside the versatility to write persuasively, analytically and creatively depending on context. A sound grasp of project and programme methodologies is required, as is confidence working with senior stakeholders and translating complex, sensitive material into accessible language. The role suits a creative and articulate communicator with excellent listening skills, strong planning and organisational capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Comfort working independently and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools are also key. Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration would be advantageous.
What you'll get in return
You'll receive a salary of up to £60,000 plus benefits including 25 days' holiday + bank holidays (and the ability to buy up to an additional 5 days of annual leave), an excellent pension scheme, discretionary yearly bonuses, private healthcare and a host of other flexible benefits. You will work primarily from their brand-new Brighton offices with excellent facilities, 3 days a week, but with some travel required to other offices across the UK.
