Job Title: Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Norwich

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design electrical systems for a variety of building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed electrical design drawings, specifications, and calculations using relevant software.
  • Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of electrical installations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of innovative design solutions.
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained and updated accurately.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in electrical design within the building services industry.
Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and building regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Professional membership or working towards membership with a relevant engineering institution is advantageous.
