Your new role
As the Interim Supplier & Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of several strategic supplier relationships and be responsible for ensuring they align with the organisation's objectives while delivering meaningful operational and commercial benefits. You will lead the development of supplier strategies, oversee governance, track performance and manage the long‑term health of these partnerships. The role involves guiding in‑contract commercial negotiations and resolving commercial disputes, often working with limited information and navigating complex environments. The position requires you to bring together cross‑functional internal teams and supplier leadership to drive innovation, improve service delivery, and ensure that commercial models remain fit for purpose. It is a highly independent role where your strategic thinking, communication skills and commercial judgement will be essential to delivering results.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring extensive experience managing strategic technology suppliers and overseeing major outsourced contracts with significant commercial impact. Success in this role requires proven senior‑level expertise in technology, procurement and commercial leadership, along with an advanced understanding of technology outsourcing, supplier capabilities, contract management, service delivery and technology‑led transformation.
You will need the confidence and credibility to influence senior decision‑makers and guide stakeholders across the organisation. Strong commercial acumen, the ability to lead negotiations and resolve disputes and a track record of securing cost efficiency and long‑term value are essential. To thrive in this environment, you will be an independent thinker with high integrity, excellent communication skills and the resilience to navigate complex situations.
