Interim Procurement Manager

A commercially focused organisation is seeking an Interim Procurement Manager to support a broad portfolio of indirect procurement activity during a period of change. Available on a hybrid basis with just 2 days per week needed in the office, this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑paced environment where procurement plays a critical role in delivering value, driving stakeholder engagement and supporting key commercial projects.

Your new role
As an Interim Procurement Manager, you will act as a procurement generalist, supporting a range of procurement initiatives and supporting a wide range of stakeholders. The role will involve managing end‑to‑end procurement activity while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement solutions are commercially sound, compliant and aligned to business objectives. You will work across multiple projects simultaneously, providing hands‑on procurement support, advising stakeholders and ensuring best practice sourcing and supplier management is followed. This role requires someone comfortable operating at pace, influencing stakeholders and delivering tangible outcomes in an interim capacity.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this Interim Procurement Manager role, you will need:
  • Strong generalist procurement experience across a range of indirect spend categories
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset well suited to interim assignments
  • The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and add value quickly
