This dynamic organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and contractor management across maintenance and construction services. With several high-impact investment projects underway, this is a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in a fast-paced, client-side environment.

Your new role
As Interim Procurement Manager, you’ll take ownership of procurement activities across outsourced operational services, materials supply, and capital investment programmes. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you’ll ensure procurement delivers value for money, compliance, and supports strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading end-to-end procurement processes: tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Developing procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and internal governance.
  • Managing supplier relationships and performance against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement in procurement practices.
  • Supporting sustainability and social value through responsible sourcing.
  • Advising senior stakeholders and monitoring market trends to inform decisions.
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in procurement management within maintenance, construction, or facilities services.
  • Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts is essential with experience of NEC3/4 highly desirable
  • Strong working knowledge of UK procurement regulations, especially the Procurement Act 2023.
  • Ability to lead complex procurement programmes and frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and contract management skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on value, compliance, and innovation.
  • MCIPS qualification or equivalent (preferred).
