Hays are currently recruiting for a well established and renowned publishing company that is seeking an Interim Accountant to join the team for an initial 2-month contract, with the potential for extension.

Your new role

In this role, you will take charge of addressing complex reconciliation issues stemming from a recent acquisition. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse and resolve discrepancies within the financial records, ensuring accuracy and alignment between the acquired companies' accounts and existing systems. By tackling these reconciliation challenges, you will play a critical role in stabilising financial operations, allowing the project to move forward.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a part-qualified accountant, can bring valuable experience of handling reconciliation issues, and you will have prior experience working in a fast-paced environment. You will be a tenacious professional with good communication skills and a 'can-do' attitude. In addition, previous experience working with SAP is essential and use of Sage is desirable. You will be available to start within the next 2 weeks and hit the ground running.
