You will be working in a non-partisan membership body defending freedom of speech in the Legal team.

Your new role

This role is fully remote, but candidates will be expected to work from the London office once a month during team days. The initial length of this contract is 3.5 months. To begin the role will be 3 days a week with the potential for full-time hours depending on workload.

Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the legal team on litigation, including drafting and bundling, and assisting with court/tribunal filings
- Draft service agreements and review other commercial contracts
- Assist with organisational legal compliance, data protection, consumer, and governance
- Support on policy and legislative affairs work relevant to freedom of speech

What you'll need to succeed

- Considerable paralegal experience (3+ years as a guideline)
- Experience of litigation and commercial advisory
- Qualifying English law degree
- Must have own equipment to enable productive working from home.
- Experience with AI is ideal

- A day rate of up to 180 PAYE, depending on experience
- Remote Working
