Interim Financial Services Paralegal – Wealth Management Firm

Your new company

A well-established wealth management firm, founded over two decades ago, is considering hiring a paralegal to join on an interim basis for up-to 4 months. Operating independently with offices in both the UK and internationally, this firm is known for offering a highly personal approach to managing offshore wealth, focusing on long-term growth and building trusted relationships with its clients.

This company offers a wide range of financial services, including wealth and investment management, as well as bespoke solutions for both individuals and institutions.

Your new role

You'll join their small legal function, working alongside the senior legal counsel, the legal director and the compliance team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and file company documents across various jurisdictions
  • Advise on data protection matters, including privacy enquiries, breaches, and DSARs
  • Support international employment matters and prepare client agreements
  • Contribute to legal workstreams including governance, company secretarial duties, client relations, and compliance
  • Maintain company registers and draft resolutions and meeting minutes
  • Manage legal filings in the UK and offshore entities
  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts, NDAs, and service agreements
  • Support client onboarding and deal documentation, liaising with legal advisors and relationship managers
  • Assist HR with employment contracts, performance reviews, staff communications, inductions, and policy updates
  • Track legal work in progress and manage key deadlines
  • Respond to ad hoc legal queries from across the business
  • Support audit processes and carry out general administrative legal tasks

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree-level education.
  • At least 1 year's experience in a paralegal role.
  • Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
