HRA Business Partner - Interim

Our clients are seeking an Interim HRA Finance Business Partner to join them on an interim basis. The role offers a mostly remote working arrangement.

Purpose of Role

Lead financial support for the council’s Housing Revenue Account. Help manage budgets, plan for the future, and make sure housing services are financially sound and compliant.
Key Duties
  • Own the HRA budget – plan, monitor, and report.
  • Support the HRA Business Plan and capital programme.
  • Advise housing teams on costs, savings, and funding.
  • Review reserves, rent income, and service charges.
  • Ensure compliance with HRA rules and finance regulations.
  • Present clear financial info to managers and councillors.
What You’ll Need
  • Solid local government finance background.
  • Strong grasp of HRA, capital, and housing finance.
  • Confident communicator and problem solver.

Bonus Skills
  • Experience with housing development finance.
  • Knowledge of Civica, TechOne, or similar systems.
