A temporary HR generalist role for up to 6 months working for one of our clients in central Reading.

Your new company
Our client is a values-driven organisation based in central Reading. They are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Advisor/Generalist to join their HR team for up to 6 months. Your new role
As HR Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Head of HR, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing recruitment campaigns and onboarding processes
  • Supporting employee relations, including absence management, probation reviews, and exit interviews
  • Coordinating payroll and benefits administration
  • Driving performance management and wellbeing initiatives
  • Supporting training logistics and learning & development activities
  • Maintaining accurate HR systems and records in line with GDPR
  • Deputising for the Head of HR when required

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist who can deliver in an independent manner across HR operations and employee relations
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
