Your new company
We’re looking for an experienced finance professional to join a school in Manchester on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months, starting in January 2026. The role will involve key finance deliverables such as the monthly/ termly management accounts, VAT returns and day-to-day transactional postings.

Your new role

• Prepare monthly and termly management accounts.
• Complete VAT returns and ensure compliance with VAT regulations.
• Manage investment-related tasks.
• Handle day-to-day transactional postings.
• Support finance operations without any line management responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong experience in management accounting.
• QUAL ACCA or CIMA / QBE
• Solid understanding of VAT and related compliance.
• Familiarity with investment processes.
• Comfortable with transactional finance tasks.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to an interim role.
