Interim Group Financial Controller - 6 Months

We're Hiring: Group Financial Controller – PE-Backed Technology | Interim (6 months)
Location: Wiltshire
Contract: Interim day rate
⏳ Duration: 6 Months

An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, PE-backed technology and digital infrastructure company backed by a leading global investor. As Group Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling financial operations, driving automation, and supporting strategic growth initiatives including M&A and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead group financial control, reporting, and governance.
  • Drive cash flow, treasury, and working capital optimisation.
  • Oversee audit, compliance, and tax strategy.
  • Champion finance systems automation (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Partner on M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
What We’re Looking For:

  • ACA (preferred) or ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience.
  • Proven success in PE-backed or high-growth SME environments.
  • Strong UK GAAP (FRS102/FRED82) and IFRS knowledge.
  • Experience in finance transformation and systems implementation.
  • Sector experience in tech, SaaS, telecoms, or digital infrastructure is a plus
  • This is a high-impact role with visibility across the leadership team
