Interim Financial Controller

Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function and manage a high-performing team. This pivotal role involves overseeing financial and commercial reporting across multiple entities, driving the optimisation of a newly implemented ERP system, and ensuring compliance with all statutory and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the finance team and deliver accurate monthly management accounts.
  • Prepare financial performance reports, budgets, and strategic plans.
  • Manage audits, tax computations, and VAT returns.
  • Develop financial models and rolling forecasts for senior leadership.
  • Enhance internal controls and drive process improvements.
About You:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 7+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record as a Financial Controller in a commercial environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and ERP system experience.
  • Highly skilled in Excel and financial modelling.
Contract Details:
  • Location: Belfast (hybrid – minimum 2 days onsite)
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Daily Rate: £400–£650 per day
