Interim Finance Transformation Lead
Location: Exeter (Hybrid Working Available)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: 6 Months (Potential for Extension)
Day Rate: Up to £400 per day

About the Role:
Hays are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Transformation Lead to drive a critical project for a client in the Exeter area: the implementation of a new finance system within their organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a major change initiative and shape the future of our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the transition from QuickBooks to a new ERP system.
  • Oversee system selection, implementation, and integration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth migration and process optimisation.
  • Provide training and support to finance teams during the transition.
  • Ensure compliance and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) – essential.
  • Proven experience in finance transformation and ERP implementation.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight timelines.

What We Offer:
  • Hybrid working (Exeter-based office).
  • Day rate up to £400.
  • Initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
